The road to your sustainable marketing transition.

Are you a marketer looking to shape or strengthen your sustainable marketing practices?

For 4 consecutive weeks, you can follow a series of hands-on masterclasses. During these 45-minute sessions, you’ll be provided with a full package of learnings and to-do’s, such as must-reads and tools to provide further support.

Masterclass 1 - Normalizing sustainable consumer behaviour

According to the WFA, 54% of marketers think the industry has an important role to play in educating people about their choices and actions, showing that marketing should encourage and normalise sustainable behaviour - both internally and externally. At the same time, they feel they lack sustainability skills.

In this Masterclass, we give examples of companies that are already successful in this and explain the reasons for their success. We show that consumers are open to it because they themselves want to contribute too. We give the right frameworks to get started. And we show how climate scientists from the IPCC have defined the social norming of sustainable consumer behaviour as the most important contribution marketing can make to the success of the Paris Agreement.

Masterclass 2 - Removing barriers to sustainable consumption
According to the WFA, Marketers are finally starting to grasp the scale of the sustainability challenge, particularly the climate crisis and understand we have reached the point where the status quo is no longer an option and have to move forward faster.

In this master class, we look at how companies are making swift progress by removing barriers that prevent consumers from making sustainable choices. We will show examples of intelligent pricing strategies, how brands make sustainable understandable, how they de-complex the choice for it, etc.

Masterclass 3 - Sustainability isn’t selling?

According to the WFA, Marketing has the opportunity to put itself back in the driving seat of business performance. Today, many marketers see too little growth in their sustainable product portfolio. Yet it is possible to extract sustainable growth and implement it in a controlled way. In this master class, we look at how this can be done.

Masterclass 4 - Credibility is the new currency (and how to avoid greenwashing)

According to the WFA, 90% of marketers support a more ambitious sustainability agenda and stress on the need to act more bravely to drive transformative change.

At the same time, marketers are afraid of being accused of greenwashing and hold back. In this master class, we will show that we can be brave and more transformative, as long as we are credible. Credibility drives sustainable consumption.

Your hosts, Wim Vermeulen and Inez Schoenaers, will gladly share their expertise and valuable insights to help you in your journey toward becoming more sustainable and successful at the same time.

Afterward, you can ask any lingering questions during the Q&A session.
